Oferente: Agencia Sueca de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (ASDI) Objetivos: • As an effective industrial property system rests on three pillars, namely legislation, enforcement and management, the basic aim of the Programme is to increase familiarity with all these aspects, both from a national and an international perspective, using Sweden as an illustrative example. • To provide information and knowledge about the main national and international elements of the law on industrial property rights. • To provide presentations on the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) and their functions. • To inform about and discuss a number of issues of importance, such as the economic impact of industrial property rights, the role of various kinds of industrial property rights such as patents, trademarks, industrial designs and geographical indications in national economic development and the importance of patent information and how to provide such information. Recepción de solicitudes: del vie 06-ene-2012 al mié 25-ene-2012 Fechas del curso: del mar 10-abr-2012 al vie 12-oct-2012 Dirigido a: Policy-makers and their advisers as well as towards persons at a senior decision-making level from the government sector including IP Offices and also to persons from the university or the private sector who are or who will be involved in issues concerning industrial property rights on a national level. Observaciones: El programa se llevará a cabo en cuatro fases: -Fase 1 y 3: Se llevará a cabo en el país donde reside cada candidato. -Fase 2: del 10 de abril al 15 de mayo 2012 en Estocolmo, Suecia. -Fase 4: se llevará a cabo del 8 al 12 de octubre 2012 (país pendiente por definir). Lunches are provided on working days. On weekends participants will receive a daily subsistence of 300 SEK. Only breakfast is provided for during weekends. Boletos aéreos, cobertura parcial.  International travel cost (air tickets) to and from Sweden will also be covered by Sida but not costs fro stop-overs and visa, etc. Sida always pays international travel cost in connection to the fourth phase of the training programme.
